When should my Cambelt be replaced?

Cambelt failures are one of the costliest repair work in any garage. They are an essential part of your engine and help to operate the water pump, pistons and valves. It is important to not ignore Cambelt maintenance! So, try and avoid expensive repair costs.  

When should it be replaced?

Every vehicle is different! Most manufacturers recommend between every 40,000 and 120,00 miles. If you would like to find out the exact timing belt replacement schedule it should be in your Owner’s Manual, or contact your local centre for advice!  

Why should you change your Cambelt?

The engine is one the most important components on your vehicle. It allows fuel into the engine and gas to be released.f the Cambelt fails, the link becomes broken, meaning that pistons can collide with the valves. This causes them to bend, the damage will varry.
