Should I buy winter tyres?

Winter tyres have specially formulated rubber so it makes it easier for you to control your car on icy and snowy roads. Winter tyres will have wide tread blocks, and more cuts in the tread. This helps it have an extra grip on the roads, hills and sharp corners. A lot of drivers also find that winter tyres give them more confidence and control when driving. It will also work out much more cost effective as summer tyres will wear out quicker than winter tyres.

Always buy a full set of tyres 

Having a mix of summer and winter tyres can be more dangerous. It can cause slippery conditions, and affect how your vehicle handles. When they are cared for correctly the summer tyres will last a long time. When not using them store them in special bags on their sides.
